My sister was a pastry chef many years ago and also a huge inspiration for my culinary pursuits.  Although she now has two youngsters to take care of, it doesn’t stop her dessert dreams from occurring, and this was the result.  D’s father-in-law is a self-proclaimed addict of Wheel of Fortune, and so for his birthday she decided to make him a Wheel shaped and themed cake, and I just had to share some pictures because it’s so adorable and fun.

She made a 2-layer chocolate ganache filled cake and used colored royal icing for the different sections, and delightful sparkly sprinkles from Dean & Deluca for the center.
